The eagerly awaited day finally came on 5
th February. The whole MSJ community went out for a day to the nearby Sunny Resorts for picnicking . The place was lovely and magnificent. One could really experience the touch of nature’s beauty and grandeur in those palm trees, green lawns and water pools. The novices wasted no time to explore the breadth and the length of the resort. No sooner than they had reached, they put on their shorts and baniyans and jumped into the swimming pool and played like dolphins. They played and played till Sch. Marcel had to tell, ‘Come out guys, let’s get ready for meals”.
Fr. Arok had worked out a superb picnic menu and all were really full after a heavy meal. The crazy games followed soon after the lunch. One could envy the youthfulness of senior community members. An interesting volley ball match too kept up
the vigour of the picnic.
The novices could not resist the temptation of jumping into the pool again. When the green signal was given they simply jumped like professional divers. When the sun was slowly setting, it was a time to wind up. Thanking the owner profusely for his generosity, all took their steps towards Mount. For more images, click on the photo below.
