First Vows 2014

After two years of intense preparation and discernment, eight second year Novices committed themselves to work under the banner of the cross by making their First Vows on 21 June 2014. We congratulate and wish them all the best in their commitment. They were given a tearful send-off on 22 June and they left for Trivandrum on the next day.

We are happy to announce that Mount St Joseph Novitiate has a new Novice Director in the person of Fr Jossy Rodrigues. We heartily welcome and wish him all the Best.

An Inward Journey (Long Retreat) 

            An Outward Journey (Mission Experiment) 

Ten First Novices successfully completed the Long retreat on 4-2-2014 and Nine Second years spent one month in 3 different Jesuit mission stations of North Karnataka - Bijapur, Mundgod and Pannur.  The First years are grateful to their Novice master Fr William Sequeira who directed and accompanied them during the retreat and the second years are grateful to the Superiors, Directors of work and the Jesuit of Bijapur, Mundgod and Pannur for their inspiration, accommodation and  guidance.
