Fr. Eugene in the company of Fr. General

Fr General- Fr Adolfo Nicholas is a simple, ever smiling, unassuming yet very intelligent person. When I met him first I was a bit taken aback by his simplicity. He said, "Welcome and I need your prayers and let us work together.' Suddenly you bump into a smiling person who is chatting with a Jesuit who stays in the infirmary, or you find him sitting in the infirmary itself swallowing the bitter medicines, don't be surprised. He is a person all over... doing all types of work and has become an ideal of simplicity of a Jesuit. He is eloquent in the many languages he speaks and his sermons are nice, spiritual, with proper application to today's world. He is above all, a spiritual person, a man of God and a man of the Society. (Eugene shares his personal impression of Fr. Nico)
